Aus denkmalpflegerischer Perspektive ist das wichtigste Instrument das Wissen um die historische Bedeutung und um historischen Bezüge. Vorgestellt werden die Elemente der umgebenden Landschaft von Seehof, wie die Weiher und Seen, der Hauptsmoorwald, die Ost-Westachse mit Fasanerie und Schweizerei, die Lichteneiche und der Greuth. Gerade am Beispiel des Jagdquartiers im Hauptsmoorwald wird deutlich, wie wichtig die Erforschung, Publikation und auch grafische Aufbereitung des Ergebnisses ist.

From a heritage conservation perspective, the most important tool is knowledge of historical significance and historical references. The elements of the surrounding landscape of Seehof are presented, such as the ponds and lakes, the Hauptsmoorwald forest, the east-west axis with the pheasantry and Swiss farm, the Lichteneiche oak tree and the Greuth. The example of the hunting quarters in the Hauptsmoorwald forest in particular clearly illustrates the importance of research, publication and graphic presentation of the results.
